I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 32 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,660 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Zahra
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
