I've spent 14 years as a lecturer in economics at Surakarta State University in Surakarta. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Zahra
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Zahra: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
