I teach history at Harmony Secondary School in Half-Way Tree since 1979. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I play music while people worked.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Yvonne
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Yvonne: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
