Yvonne Kyei

34 years teaching music in Obuasi

  • 🇬🇭 Obuasi, Ashanti, Ghana
  • Windsor Academy
  • Since 1981
  • English, Twi
For 45 years I have been the music teacher at Windsor Academy. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Yvonne

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Yvonne: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
