Yvonne Hannah Sackey
30 years teaching home economics in Accra
- 🇬🇭 Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana
- 2016 to 2024
- English, Twi
For eight years I was the home economics teacher at Accra Academy. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.

You taught me home economics in 2017 at Accra Academy. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
