I taught home economics at Kingsway Middle School in Kumasi from 1992 to 2007. Most days I taught first-year students, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
