Yves Legrand
Art and computer science teacher, Nîmes
- 🇫🇷 Nîmes, Occitanie, France
- Nîmes Grammar School
- 1995 to 2012
- French
I taught art at Nîmes Grammar School in Nîmes from 1995 to 2012. Most days I taught Year 9, and I never once raised my voice.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Yves
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Yves: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
