Yusuke Naoki Takeuchi
Social studies and computer science teacher, Tokyo
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Since 1978

I teach social studies at Tokyo Secondary School in Tokyo since 1978. Most days I teach teenagers, and I answer every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I've had 2,160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Yusuke
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Yusuke: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
