Yusuf Umar Firmansyah
English literature and early years teacher, Makassar
- 🇮🇩 Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia
- Makassar Technical College
- 2006 to 2014
- English
For eight years I was the English literature teacher at Makassar Technical College. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Yusuf
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
