Yusuf Ilham Wardana

Choir director and singer

🇮🇩 Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia
Surakarta Quartet
1992 to 2018
English, Indonesian

I'm a musician from Surakarta. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count. I teach about 7 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I watch every football match going. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Yusuf

I wrote my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.

Instruments or styles

Sitar

What gifts mean to Yusuf: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
