Yusuf Ilham Sihombing
19 years teaching music in Depok
- 🇮🇩 Depok, West Java, Indonesia
- Depok Academy
- Since 2011
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Yusuf
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Yusuf: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me music in 2012 at Depok Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

I failed music twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you Greetings from Jakarta.
