Yusuf E. Steyn

29 years teaching home economics in Sandton

  • 🇿🇦 Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Since 1996
  • English
I teach home economics at Sandton Middle School in Sandton since 1996. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term. I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Yusuf

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
