Yuri Makarov
Table tennis and fitness coach, Latina
- 🇮🇹 Latina, Lazio, Italy
- Latina Swimming Club
- Since 1987
- Italian, Russian
For 39 years I've run the table tennis program at Latina Swimming Club in Latina. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Yuri
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
