Yuri Kovalenko
Self-taught calligraphy artist
- 🇺🇦 Kharkiv, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine
- Gateway Studio
- Since 1995
- English, Russian
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1995 at Gateway Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I always make time for a proper cup of tea. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Yuri
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Yuri: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
