Yulia Smirnov

Environmental science teacher at Saint Petersburg Middle School, Since 1987

  • 🇷🇺 Saint Petersburg, Saint Petersburg, Russia
  • Since 1987
  • English
For 39 years I have been the environmental science teacher at Saint Petersburg Middle School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Yulia

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Yulia: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
