Yuki Yuna Imai

25 years teaching history in Kobe

  • 🇯🇵 Kobe, Hyogo, Japan
  • Riverside High School
  • Since 1985
  • English
I teach history and art at Riverside High School, Kobe. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Yuki

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Yuki: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
