Yuki Rin Kato

33 years teaching music in Kyoto

  • 🇯🇵 Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan
  • Kyoto Primary School
  • Since 1983
  • Japanese
For 43 years I have been the music teacher at Kyoto Primary School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.

More about Yuki

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Yuki: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
