Yuki Nanami Fujiwara
Master of leatherwork, now teaching apprentices
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Tokyo Repairs
- Since 2006
- Japanese
I've worked in leatherwork since 2006. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 420 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 22 years later for another job.
More about Yuki
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Yuki: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
