Yuki Kazuo Shimizu
Law school mentor, Shinjuku
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- Shinjuku Community Trust
- 2010 to 2021
- Japanese
For eleven years I've mentored people in law school and writing. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I never once raised my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Yuki
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Yuki: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
