Yui Yamamoto

Geography and music teacher, Kitakyushu

  • 🇯🇵 Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan
  • Redwood Public School
  • 1992 to 2025
  • English, Japanese
I taught geography and music at Redwood Public School, Kitakyushu. I never turned anyone away. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm still learning every day.

More about Yui

If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Yui: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
