I taught drama at Jacaranda Middle School in Springfield from 1987 to 2018. Most days I taught teenagers, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 1,020 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Yu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
