Young-ja Soo-jin Son

Coached martial arts for 23 years in Mapo

I coached martial arts at Mapo Swimming Club from 1986 to 2009. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
