Yoon-ah Ryu
Swimming and fitness coach, Seoul
- 🇰🇷 Seoul, Seoul, South Korea
- Seoul Pioneer Athletic Club
- 2005 to 2018
- Korean
For 13 years I ran the swimming program at Seoul Pioneer Athletic Club in Seoul. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
More about Yoon-ah
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Yoon-ah: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
