I'm a oil painting artist based in Burnaby. I've been making things since 1980 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I garden badly but happily.

What gifts mean to Yong: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.

I bought one of your pieces in 1993. It's still the first thing I see in the morning! Truly.
