Yong Hui Deng
20 years teaching music in Springfield
- 🇺🇸 Springfield, Illinois, United States
- Springfield Grammar School
- Since 2016
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Yong: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.

You taught me music in 2023 at Springfield Grammar School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
