For twelve years I was the home economics teacher at Jacaranda Public School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
