I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Yolanda
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Yolanda: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2017 at Beacon Boys' School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
