Yolanda W. Quiroga
32 years teaching mathematics in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Silverlake High School
- 2011 to 2022
- English, Spanish
Silverlake High School was my second home. I taught mathematics there from 2011 to 2022, mostly the youngest children.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Yolanda
If you were in my the youngest children class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Yolanda: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
