26 years teaching biology in Chicago
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Chicago Middle School
- 1996 to 2016

I taught biology at Chicago Middle School in Chicago from 1996 to 2016. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never once raised my voice.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Yolanda
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
