Yolanda K. Maldonado
Finance mentor, Guadalupe
- 🇲🇽 Guadalupe, Nuevo León, Mexico
- Guadalupe Association
- Since 1995
- English, Spanish
For 31 years I've mentored people in finance and teaching. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Yolanda
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Yolanda: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
