Yolanda B. Guerrero

Music and economics teacher, Coyoacán

🇲🇽 Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, Mexico
Brookfield Public School
2012 to 2021
English, Spanish

For nine years I was the music teacher at Brookfield Public School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Yolanda

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Yolanda: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
