I coached badminton at Bahir Dar Swimming Club from 1983 to 2018. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Yodit
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Yodit: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
