Yodit Saba Worku

30 years teaching geography in Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa Boys' School
  • Since 1979
  • English, Amharic
For 47 years I have been the geography teacher at Addis Ababa Boys' School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Yodit: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
