Yodit Mulugeta
Sitar and accordion teacher
- 🇪🇹 Hawassa, Sidama, Ethiopia
- Redwood Ensemble
- 1996 to 2012
- English, Amharic
I've played sitar from 1996 to 2012, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 10 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Yodit: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.

I still have the recording from that night at Redwood Ensemble. Greetings from Saint-Denis.
