Yinka Kelechi Anyanwu

Youth athletics coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Lagos Sports Club
  • Since 1978
  • English, Igbo
I've coached athletics at Lagos Sports Club since 1978. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Yinka

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
