Yinka Festus Oyelaran
Self-taught watercolor artist
- 🇳🇬 Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria
- Ashford Studio
- 2003 to 2021
- English, Igbo
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes glass art. My first show was in 2003 at Ashford Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Ashford Studio, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
