Yinka Ebuka Onyeama
Coached hockey for 34 years in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Riverside Sports Club
- 1986 to 2020
- English, Yoruba, French
I coached hockey at Lagos Riverside Sports Club from 1986 to 2020. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Yinka
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Yinka: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
