Ying Fang
25 years teaching French in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Meadowbank Boys' School
- Since 1992
- English, Mandarin
For 34 years I have been the French teacher at Meadowbank Boys' School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Ying
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ying: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
