I've spent 35 years as a lecturer in literature at Lagos University in Lagos. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Yewande: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
