Yewande Ogunbanjo
Rowing and fitness coach, Wudil
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Since 1985
- English, Yoruba
I've coached rowing at Wudil Community Club since 1985. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Yewande
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Yewande: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
