Yewande Nkechi Bankole
Runs the refugee support in Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Mutual Aid
- 2000 to 2016
- English
I've volunteered with Ikeja Mutual Aid from 2000 to 2016. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Yewande: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
