Yewande Mercy Okoro
Marine biology lecturer, Since 1991
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Kano Polytechnic
- Since 1991
- English
My subject is marine biology, and for 35 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Kano Polytechnic.
Former students now work as a bus driver and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
What gifts mean to Yewande: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
