Yewande Comfort Daramola
Self-taught ceramics artist
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Since 1992
- English, Hausa, French
I'm a ceramics artist based in Ikeja. I've been making things since 1992 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Yewande
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

I bought one of your pieces in 2001. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Fort Worth.
