Yewande Abosede Igwe
Painter, potter and teacher at Ikeja Pottery
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Pottery

I work mostly in street art, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1994 at Ikeja Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Ikeja Pottery, which keeps me honest.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Yewande: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
