Yetunde Yewande Fashola
Agriculture and computer science teacher, Zaria
- 🇳🇬 Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria
- Since 1984
- English, Yoruba, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,640 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Yetunde
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Yetunde: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
