I taught history at Eastgate High School in Asaba from 1985 to 2018. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 1,580 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Yetunde
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Yetunde: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
