Yetunde Ibrahim
Youth athletics coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Boxing Gym
- Since 2005
- English, Spanish
For 21 years I've run the athletics program at Lagos Boxing Gym in Lagos. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I watch every football match going.
More about Yetunde
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Yetunde: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
