For 15 years I have been the English literature teacher at Lagos Girls' School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
