Yeshi Shiferaw

17 years teaching drama in Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Lincoln Girls' School
  • Since 2018
  • English
For eight years I have been the drama teacher at Lincoln Girls' School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Yeshi

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Yeshi: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
