I teach environmental science and special education at Addis Ababa Secondary School, Addis Ababa. My door was open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 1,170 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
